This includes
- Independence in the choice of research fields, methods and the evaluation of collected data;
- Respect for the personality of the research partners in the research process and in the presentation of the research;

- Fairness in dealing with other scientists, especially all those involved in the publications;
- Respecting all principles as formulated for publications with regard to authorship, among other things.

In the event of conflicts between authors on the one hand and the team of editors on the other, the journal's advisory board may be involved. At least three people from the advisory board will then decide on disputed cases by majority vote after hearing the parties involved and independently of the votes of the editorial team.
